Outreach
Day of Service
When: Third Sunday of the month.
Where: TBA
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
On the third Sunday of every month, St. Luke goes out to serve the community. We do various projects such as trash clean up, yard work, and painting. All are welcome.
If you or someone you know is in need of some help please fill out our service request form. We can't guarantee that we will be able to help everyone, or that we will have the ability, tool, or know how to handle every request. Requests are handled first come first serve.

Our Mission is to lend support to the service organizations helping those in need within our community. Giving support thru monetary gifts and service to the following community programs:

Matt Talbot Kitchen: Outreach collects food for their food pantry on a monthly basis and highlighting needs throughout the year.
Habitat for Humanity is supported in Prayer and with lunch served during the building season.
Friendship Home with Christmas in July. Gifts are given and placed under our patriotic Christmas tree providing items that the Women and Children of the shelter need most at that time.
UMCOR needs are supported as needed.
The Lighthouse is supported thru donations at Thanksgiving.
Salvation Army and Peoples City Mission receive gifts at Christmas from our members with our giving tree providing new toys and gifts for the Angel Tree/Toy Store at the Salvation Army. New Hats, Mittens, and socks are given for the Peoples City Mission guests.
Walter Apartment Friends. We have partnered with this community and enjoy bringing fellowship, music and treats several times each year.
Our committee also reaches out to our Church Family members who are limited in their mobility or have an illness by sending greeting cards throughout the year.
We hope to provide a meal for Matt Talbot periodically as we did in early 2023.
