About The Event
"“Christians are made, not born,” said Tertullian. Following Jesus does not come naturally. Discipleship requires time and training. When Jesus commissioned his disciples, he commanded them “to make disciples” (Matthew 28). How do we do that? By “baptizing and teaching them all I have commanded.” In confirmation, the church obeys Christ by making disciples through helping people live into their baptism and teaching them all that Jesus demands." - Will Willamon
This year's confirmation class will run from September 2021 through May 2022. This year we are updating our confirmation program to a mentor model where each confirmand is paired with a mentor who walks the journey of confirmation with them through the year. Please register by August 22nd, 2021. We will have our first meeting on September 5th at 11:30 am.
